This website was created to help people feel more confident about signing their residential lease. For many people the residential lease is their first experience with a binding legal contract, and spending hundreds of dollars to have a lawyer review it is not an easy option. 

 

Lease Peace provides a way for Tenants to "screen" their lease by comparing it to a sample. There is no true Standard Lease, but the basic components are similar across the states with some state-specific differences based on state/local laws.
